Ingredients
For the Brown Butter Chocolate Chip Cookies:
- 1/2 cup Florida Crystals® Regenerative Organic Certified® Raw Cane Sugar
- 1/2 cup Florida Crystals® Regenerative Organic Certified® Brown Sugar
- 1/2 cup salted butter (1 stick)
- 1 large egg, room temperature
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 1/4 cups all purpose flour
- 1/2 tsp baking soda
- 1 cup semi sweet chocolate chips/chunks
For the Peanut Butter Glaze:
- 1/2 cup Florida Crystals® Regenerative Organic Certified® Powdered Sugar
- 1 tbsp butter, melted or browned
- 2 tbsp peanut butter, creamy
- 1-2 tbsp milk of choice
Instructions
Step 1
Place your butter in a large saucepan, cooking on medium high heat until melted. Continue cooking until butter browns & begins to emit a nutty aroma. Immediately remove from heat, placing into a glass bowl to cool for roughly 20 minutes.
Step 2
In a large bowl, combine your Florida Crystals® Regenerative Organic Certified® Raw Cane & Light Brown Sugars, with your egg, cooled browned butter, & vanilla.
Step 3
Mix your flour & baking soda into the batter, then fold in your chocolate chips.
Step 4
Spoon the batter from the bowl, roll into balls with your hands, and place onto a parchment paper lined baking sheet. Bake at 350ºF for 12-13 minutes, or until the cookies have set and the edges are golden brown.
Step 5
While the cookies bake, prepare your peanut butter glaze. In a small bowl, combine your Florida Crystals® Regenerative Organic Certified® Powdered Sugar, creamy peanut butter, browned butter, & milk. Whisk until the glaze is to your desired thickness.
Step 6
Drizzle your peanut butter glaze over top of your cookies straight out of the oven. Garnish with flaky sea salt, & enjoy!
