Olive Oil and Herbs Rice

Ingredients


  • Weight/Measure (in U.S. Customary Units)
  • 1 cup- Florida Crystals® Regenerative Organic Brown Rice
  • 2 cups - Water
  • 2 ½ tablespoons - Olive Oil
  • 2 teaspoons - Dried parsley
  • ½ teaspoon - Salt
  • ½ teaspoon - Chicken bouillon
  • ½ teaspoon - Garlic powder
  • ½ teaspoon - Onion powder
  • ¼ teaspoon - Paprika
  • ¼ teaspoon - Dried thyme
  • ¼ teaspoon - Black pepper

Instructions

Step 1

Rinse rice. Pour water, butter, herbs, and spices in a saucepan. Bring water to boil. Add rice and stir. Reduce heat to low. Cover saucepan with a tight-fitting lid. Cook rice for 25 minutes.

Step 2

Remove from heat. Fluff rice with a fork or a spoon. Cover and allow the rice to sit, covered, for 5 minutes.
