Cilantro Lime Rice

3 cups cooked rice

Ingredients


  • Weight/Measure (in U.S. Customary Units)
  • 1 cup - Florida Crystals® Regenerative Organic White Rice
  • 2 cups - Water
  • 1 tablespoon - Extra virgin olive oil
  • ½ teaspoon - Salt
  • ¼ teaspoon - Garlic powder
  • 1 - Lime, zested and juiced
  • 3 tablespoons - Cilantro, finely chopped

Instructions

Step 1

Rinse rice. Pour water, olive oil, garlic powder, and salt in a saucepan. Bring water to boil. Add rice and reduce heat to low. Cover saucepan with a tight-fitting lid. Cook rice for 15 minutes.

Step 2

Remove from heat and add lime juice, zest, and cilantro. Fluff rice with a fork or a spoon. Cover and allow the rice to sit, covered, for 5 minutes.
